AdSense referrals changed to include a 90-day limit
When you make somebody sign up for the AdSense program, you get paid $100 as soon as that referred advertiser makes $100. But wait. Google just added a footnote on the bottom of the AdSense referral page:
AdSense Referrals Paid Only Within 90 Days

AdSense silently adds a 90-day time limit
"An AdSense referral is counted when a publisher, who has never previously enrolled in AdSense, creates an account and earns at least $100.00 within 90 days of sign-up."

Google being evil again.
"$100 over the lifetime of the account" wouldn't make sense for Google. It can certainly be argued whether 90 days is appropriate, but it is not unreasonable for them to impose some time restraint.
That is very sly of Google - they should pay up fair and square - the webmasters out there are doing the work for them, they shouldn't through barriers in their way.
It would make more sense to just drop the commission to $5 or $10 on every approved sign-up regardless of earnings.
maybe the chinese asked them to do it :-)
